Academia

"In any dispute the intensity of feeling is inversely proportional to the value of the issues at stake. That is why academic politics are so bitter."
—Sayre's law
Starting in August of 2016, I served as a full-time faculty member at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business. In May of 2020, I hung up my spurs.
I may return to academia at some point, ideally as a professor of practice at a school that truly values the contributions of its teaching faculty. (Oh, and without the presence of a stifling bureaucracy.) Alternatively, I could see working for an organization that seeks to disrupt higher education. Location-wise, the idea of teaching in another country appeals to me. 🇨🇦
