AI Giveth and Taketh Away
I've seen oodles of statistics on AI this year, but one about productivity stands out.
In the past year, the number of research studies and polls on AI has exploded. It seems like new research drops every day. Just ask Google Trends.

Hands down, though, my favorite stat comes from Model Evaluation & Threat Research:
...developers who used AI thought it had sped them up by 20%. But programmers who used AI took 19% longer, on average, than programmers who didnβt.
