On November 14, 2000 I stood on line at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison NJ. (That URL goes to Simon.com. Neat coincidence, no?). I patiently waited on line for a total of about six hours.

Why subject myself to such a wait? Easy. For the singular opportunity to shake the hand of a personal hero of mine, Geddy Lee of Rush. Nearly ten years later, we meet under less formal (and real) circumstances.
