Are Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google Monopolies?

Don't make me laugh.

Are modern-day platforms such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google similar to early and mid-20th century monopolies? Do Bezos and Zuckerberg resemble Carnegie and Rockefeller?

In short, no.

I weigh in on this subject in this short video.

Simon Says: Let’s use our terms responsibly.

Want to use a search engine other than Google? Go right ahead. Want to buy your books from a company not named Amazon? Nothing is stopping you.

Sorry, Mr. Reich. It’s just plain silly to think of Big Tech along the same lines as Big Oil or Big Steel.
